Job Description

 The Intern will support the QA Department in the day-to-day operations of HMT Industries Sdn Bhd. This internship offers a hands-on learning experience in operational management, process improvement, and team collaboration. The intern will gain valuable insights into the operations of a successful company and develop essential skills for a career in operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and managing daily operational activities.
  • Support the coordination of various departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze data to support decision-making.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with team members across different departments.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating team meetings and activities.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the department and other team members.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Help manage schedules, appointments, and communications.

Job Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong interest in operations management and process improvement.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin an added advantage
