Job Description

Design Concept Development

  • Develop creative interior design concepts based on client requirements, project objectives, and budget guidelines. 
  • Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, material proposals, and design presentations. 
  • Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings to effectively communicate design intent. 
  • Present and explain design concepts, materials, and finishes to clients and stakeholders.

Technical Drawings & Documentation

  • Prepare detailed construction drawings, technical drawings, and fabrication drawings for project implementation. 
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building requirements, and company quality standards. 
  • Maintain proper design documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and costing information when required.

Project Coordination & Site Involvement

  • Conduct site visits, measurements, and site assessments to understand project requirements and constraints. 
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams during project execution. 
  • Resolve design-related issues on-site by providing practical design solutions and revisions. 
  • Monitor project progress to ensure design intent is properly executed.

Material & Finishes Selection

  • Research and propose suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and fittings. 
  • Ensure material selections align with project budgets, functional requirements, and aesthetic goals. 
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding material specifications and procurement requirements.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all design deliverables are completed within agreed timelines. 
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, documentation standards, and ISO requirements where applicable. 
  • Continuously improve design quality and stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies. 

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, preferably within the design & build, commercial, residential, or renovation industry. 
  • Experience handling projects from conceptual design through construction documentation is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of:
