As an Estimator II, you will be responsible for preparing and developing responses to customer requests for proposals, estimates, and supporting information, in close collaboration with sales and operations teams. You will deliver high-quality proposals, identifying cost-effective technical and commercial solutions while ensuring alignment with customer needs. Additionally, you will be tasked with leveraging systems and tools to maintain accurate documentation, ensuring timely delivery, and proposing alternative solutions to enhance the value provided to customers.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Prepare responses to customer requests for proposals, estimates, and supporting documents, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial requirements for project automation on ICSS and Migration projects.
  • Deliver high-quality proposals, constantly seeking ways to enhance customer service.
  • Accurately maintain estimates and proposals, utilizing internal tools and systems, while ensuring compliance with internal SOPs.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain technical and commercial offers from third-party vendors, Honeywell
  • Business Units, and sub-vendors.
  • Propose technical and commercial alternatives to enable the lowest compliant bid while maximizing value for the customer.
  • Complete full proposals with the required scope of supply, ensuring coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to post-proposal technical clarifications and update proposals as needed.
  • Develop and submit approval (e-GAP) information in support to.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Honeywell products, new releases, and competitor solutions.
  • Act as a collaboration agent to standardize best practices across teams and projects.
  • Prepare booking packages following P&E SOPs upon project award.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Accurate and timely portrayal of costs in estimates and proposals.
  • Technical and commercial alternatives proposed to maximize customer value and minimize costs.
  • Clear communication of technical and commercial solutions to customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to understand and address customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and other business applications.
  •  
  • Technically minded with the ability to propose alternative solutions both within and outside Honeywell's scope of supply.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written); additional languages (Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese, French) are advantageous.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with international clients.
  • Engineering Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in process automation, Electronics, process control, telecommunications, or computer science. 
  • Solutions experience is beneficial
  • 1 – 3 years field equipment experience.
