At HORVIN Construction Sdn Bhd, you'll be part of live infrastructure, railway, utility, and government projects, working alongside experienced engineers and project managers. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in project planning, technical documentation, site coordination, and project execution—providing valuable exposure that goes beyond a typical internship.

What You'll Do

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects from start to finish.
• Support project managers and engineers in daily project execution and site operations.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, reports, engineering drawings, and technical records.
• Track project progress, update documentation, and follow up on outstanding action items.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and progress meetings.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in quality control, document control, and project administration activities.
• Contribute ideas and solutions to overcome project challenges while maintaining project timelines.
• Gain practical exposure to government and infrastructure project delivery processes.

We're looking for interns who are passionate about construction, enjoy solving problems, and are ready to take on real responsibilities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Construction Management
• Quantity Surveying
• Project Management
• or other related disciplines
• Internship duration of at least 3 months.
• Strong interest in construction project management and infrastructure projects.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
• Able to think critically and solve problems independently.
• Willing to take ownership of assigned tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to work in both office and construction site environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings is an added advantage.
