Returning in late 2025, the Delano Miami Beach reclaims its place as a beacon of Art Deco elegance and modern luxury. Originally opened in 1995 and famed for its whimsical design by Philippe Starck, the hotel is being revived under Ennismore Hotels and Cain International. Guests can expect 171 reimagined rooms and suites, vibrant dining, two stunning pools, and the return of the beloved Rose Bar. 

Training Plan:

  • Orientation (0,5 month): You will receive orientation to the company and local community which includes learning about our company’s customers and culture; meeting key team members; receiving computer training on company systems; participating in on-site training before opening; and assisting the division team in preparing for the soft/grand opening. Receive orientation to the local community including cultural centers, volunteer opportunities, local sporting events, and entertainment venues. Orientation is scheduled to take up to one month and takes place concurrently with the second phase of training.
  • Pool/Recreational Area/Restaurant Server (2 months): You will learn opening and closing duties of pool/recreational area restaurant staff; learn proper service techniques, product knowledge, relevant state and federal laws,  and sanitation codes; learn various upselling techniques to maximize revenue; learn department training procedures and pre-shift meeting with staff; learn sidework assignment and control, daily and weekly forecasting, scheduling and staffing, requisition procedures.
  • Host (3 months): You will learn responsibilities of the restaurant host as they will gain a deep understanding of the restaurant business levels, managing the flow the restaurant guests. The participant will have to learn how and where to seat guests, in accordance with business flow, to set the serving team up for success. Additional skills that will be learnt include phone etiquette and managing the restaurant reservation system.
  • In-Room Dining Server (6 months): You will learn the responsibilities for delivering exceptional dining experiences directly to guests’ rooms. This role combines attentive service, product knowledge, and a commitment to luxury hospitality standards. Learn key responsibilities to include Order Management: Take food and beverage orders via phone, in-room technology, or personal interaction, accurately record orders in POS systems (e.g., MICROS), meet SOP hotel standards to provide outstanding service, deliver meals promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation meets luxury standards, set up in-room dining tables when requested and explain menu items, handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies with care, follow up for satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly, complete closing duties (restocking, cleaning, securing workstations) and follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Requirements

  • You have a hospitality degree from a post-secondary academic education with a minimum 2-year full-time course, approved by the Ministry of Education
  • Recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry
