Training Plan:
- Orientation (0,5 month): You will receive orientation to the company and local community and includes learning about our company’s customers, culture, business strategies, etc.; learn about payroll schedules and payroll tax withholding; local training area, housing options, apartment complexes and transportation options; meet key contacts and other employees; receive computer training on company systems; receive orientation to local community including cultural centers, volunteer opportunities, local sporting events, and entertainment venues. Orientation is scheduled to take up to one month and takes places concurrently with the first phase of training.
- Guest Service Agent (5 months): You will learn front desk computer system; check-in and check-out procedures; promote Preferred Guest Program; cashier responsibilities; maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily; group arrivals procedures, guest room assignment and control; walk over procedures; hourly house counts; sell-out controls; room key controls; room up selling techniques; resolve guest concerns.
- Guest Experience Curator (4,5 months): You will learn to provide a personalized guest experience to the guest during their pre-arrival, check-in, throughout their stay and upon departure; learn to follow up with guests to ensure their request or problems have been meet to their satisfaction; update their guest folio to accurately track; coordinate guests arrival with other departments; assign rooms per guest request; learn to review out of order rooms daily to determine status and estimate return to inventory; review late check out requests and approve or deny; ensure market codes are up to date; verify and adjust billing for guests; learn to organize check-in/registration procedures for arriving groups.
- Housekeeping Coordinator (2 months): You will learn to coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with Forbes Standards, assuring all occupied and vacant rooms are assigned; communicate with the Front Desk of any group arrivals; VIP arrivals or any special guest requests, any issues or discrepancies with departures and arrivals throughout the day. Monitor all turning of vacant dirty rooms to vacant ready rooms and keep Executive Housekeeper or Manager informed.
