About Our Client

MOBA develops high-tech equipment for the egg industry. Based in Petaling Jaya, MOBA Asia supports customers across the region with equipment installation, maintenance and technical service.

We are looking for a hands-on Junior Service Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, learning new systems and working with customers across Asia.

What you will do

• Support experienced engineers with equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs and upgrades at customer sites.
• Assist in diagnosing electrical, electronic, electromechanical and control-system faults.
• Read electrical diagrams, technical drawings and service documentation.
• Prepare for service visits by reviewing equipment information, required tools and spare parts.
• Support equipment inspections, testing, start-up and customer handover.
• Help customers understand equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports, checklists, time records and expense claims, and maintain relevant technical records and software backups.
• Coordinate with service coordinators and regional or headquarters technical teams.
• Follow company and customer-site health and safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering is mandatory. A qualification in Mechanical Engineering alone does not meet the job specification for this position.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in industrial machinery, equipment maintenance or field service.
• Basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills and the ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Good spoken and written English for customer communication and technical reporting.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Asia, including overseas and short-notice assignments, and work flexible hours when required.
• Willingness to work in egg production, packing and poultry environments.
• A valid driving licence.
• A responsible, practical approach, willingness to learn and ability to workwith different teams.
• Exposure to PLC controls, industrial automation or PC-based equipment is an advantage.
