Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Tendering

• Prepare bills of quantities, takeoffs and preliminary cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Compile tender documents and help evaluate bids to ensure scope clarity and competitive pricing.

Contract & Cost Control

• Monitor project costs and prepare interim valuations, variation claims and payment certificates.
• Maintain cost records, forecast budget trends and highlight potential overruns early.

Site & Stakeholder Coordination

• Carry out regular site visits to verify measurements and check work against documents.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors and suppliers and support contract administration and compliance.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome, 0 years experience acceptable; internship or site exposure is an advantage.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proven ability in measurement, BOQ preparation, cost estimating and tender documentation.
• Good MS Excel skills and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing software are preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian construction contract forms, standard methods of measurement and building practices.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Organised, detail oriented and comfortable working both on site and in the office.
• Willingness to learn from seniors and to collaborate with project teams.
