We are looking for a creative and driven Video Editor to join our team and lead the creation of engaging social media videos and high-impact branded content. You will be part of Weirdkaya, the leading English Gen-Z Media Brand. The role blend in-house content creation with client-sponsored storytelling, ensuring content aligns with both our brand voice and client objectives.

In-House Content

• Create, edit, and publish daily social media videos tailored to our audience’s interests and platform-specific formats.
• Monitor and leverage current social media trends, ensuring our content remains fresh and relevant.
• Proactively engage with followers, contributing to an active and responsive online presence.
• Work toward achieving defined KPIs including viewership, engagement rates, and audience growth.
• Cover media events and turn them into compelling, share-worthy content across platforms.

Sponsored Content

• Collaborate with our video lead to understand campaign goals and target audience.
• Conceptualize and develop creative social content ideas and storyboards that effectively communicate client messages.
• Oversee the end-to-end production process—from pre-production planning to shooting and post-production.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and production, ensuring timely delivery and revisions based on client feedback and approvals.

Job Requirements

• Fluent in English language is a must.
• Experienced in content production, social media, or digital marketing specifically for a Gen-Z target market
• Proficiency in video editing software.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
• Ability to balance creative thinking with performance-driven content strategy.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience working with clients and managing creative feedback loops is a plus.
