Job Description

  • Responsible in managing day-to-day finance and human resources related operation matters of the subsidiaries.
  • Responsible in performing all accounting procedures, month end closing, journal entries, general ledger maintenance and preparing supporting schedules for financial statements of the subsidiaries.
  • Responsible in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports of the subsidiaries to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Responsible in preparing monthly group consolidation statements of the subsidiaries and submit to Group Finance.
  • Responsible in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable matters as well as treasury of the subsidiaries. 
  • Responsible in managing payroll preparation and adhering to statutory compliances of the subsidiaries.
  • Responsible in liaising with external/internal auditors, tax agents and company secretaries in a professional manner to ensure request from all parties is attended in promptly basis.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with business principles and practices is an added advantage for consideration 
  • Familiar with spreadsheets and OBM accounting software is an added advantage for consideration
