Job Description
VIDEO CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA
- Curate trending and viral videos across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other social platforms.
- Identify relevant videos and trends that resonate with WeirdKaya’s audience.
- Edit and adapt selected videos for WeirdKaya’s social media platforms.
- Monitor content performance and identify trends that drive views and engagement.
- Produce original short-form videos and cover selected events when required.
- Work towards KPIs related to views, engagement and audience growth.
SPONSORED CONTENT
- Work with the Marketing Director to develop engaging video concepts based on client objectives.
- Curate relevant trends and formats for sponsored content.
- Manage video production and post-production, including client feedback.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and current social media trends.
- Good eye for identifying engaging, viral and relevant video content.
- Intermediate video editing skills and familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Creative, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with the editorial and marketing teams.
- Prior experience in social media, content creation, video production or a related field is an advantage.
