Business Leadership & Strategy
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for Rakita as a commercial media and content business, ensuring alignment with Group objectives and Ministry mandates.
- Translate approved strategies into executable business plans, growth initiatives, and performance targets.
- Lead the evolution of Rakita’s business and operating models to ensure long-term relevance, competitiveness, and sustainability.
Financial Management, Budgeting & P&L Accountability
- Hold full accountability for Rakita’s P&L, including revenue performance, cost management, and overall profitability.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with strong governance and disciplined cost control.
- Monitor financial performance and drive corrective actions while overseeing subsidiary profit models, pricing strategies, and margin optimisation.
Revenue Generation & Monetisation
- Drive revenue growth across all Rakita platforms, including radio, digital, content, events, sponsorships, advertising, and partnerships.
- Identify, develop, and execute new monetisation opportunities and commercial initiatives.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with advertisers, agencies, partners, and clients to support recurring and scalable revenue streams.
- Ensure alignment between content strategy, audience growth, and commercial outcomes.
Operations & Delivery Oversight
- Oversee end-to-end operations across broadcast, digital platforms, content production, events, and supporting functions.
- Ensure operational efficiency, quality delivery, and effective utilisation of resources.
- Approve and oversee major operational initiatives, campaigns, and productions in line with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Ensure systems, processes, and internal controls support scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
People Leadership, Manpower Productivity & Rewards
- Act as the key planner for manpower productivity, ensuring optimal workforce structure, capability mix, and utilisation.
- Lead workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning for Rakita.
- Establish and oversee performance management frameworks aligned with business, revenue, and productivity outcomes.
Governance, Risk, Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance with strong governance and transparent reporting. Proactively manage operational, financial, and reputational risks to protect business continuity. Represent Rakita to key stakeholders and provide clear performance updates to leadership and the Board.
