Job Description
- Lead the end-to-end execution of IoT projects, including deployment, commissioning, and testing of smart poles and other IoT devices.
- Manage project coordination with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee vendor management by monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain key project documentation, such as project plans, deployment checklists, and SOPs.
- Conduct on-site User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Provide training to clients on the delivered IoT solutions and ensure a smooth handover process.
- Act as the primary liaison for client engagement, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle ad-hoc client requirements or change requests and coordinate with the technical team for necessary updates.
- Ensure timely reporting of project progress, risks, and issues, while continuously improving project workflows.
- Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for complex project challenges.
- Drive process improvements by standardizing deployment methodologies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Support management in strategic planning for scaling IoT projects and resource allocation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotic & amp; Mechatronics or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with IoT solutions, including basic knowledge of hardware, networking, and system integration.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in project engineering or project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex deployments.
- Ability to prepare and manage project documentation, including SOPs, technical manuals, and reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting technical issues during deployment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
- Quick learner with a keen interest in exploring and mastering new IoT technologies.
- Familiarity with software development and hardware specifications, even without hands-on experience, is an advantage.
