Job Description

As a 3D/Exhibition Designer at Incubase Studio, you will be responsible for creating innovative and immersive exhibition layouts and designs. Your primary focus will be on developing exhibition spaces that align with IP themes and deliver exceptional visitor experiences. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Team, Project Management Team, and Production Team to bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities (Job Scope):

Exhibition Layout & Design:

• Create detailed 3D models, renderings, and floor plans for exhibitions and event spaces.
• Develop innovative design concepts that align with IP themes and enhance visitor engagement.
• Execute detailed design tasks such as 2D graphics, 3D renderings, and production files for interactive and immersive exhibits.

Space Planning:

• Design thematic touring experiences and exhibitions, creating spatial concepts and IP visuals.
• Design functional and visually appealing layouts for exhibitions, ensuring optimal flow and visitor experience.
• Plan retail and merchandise display areas within exhibitions as a secondary responsibility.

Collaboration with Production Team:

• Work closely with the Production Team to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and align with production capabilities and timelines.
• Provide technical drawings and specifications to guide the production and installation process.

Technical Execution:

• Produce accurate technical drawings, material specifications, and construction guidelines.
• Oversee the implementation of designs during the build phase to ensure quality and accuracy.

Quality Control:

• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure designs are executed as planned.
• Provide feedback and adjustments as needed during the installation process.
• Converse about concepts and designs, choosing appropriate materials and details to ensure high-quality outputs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in 3D design, exhibition design, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and etc).
• Strong creative and technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with production teams.
• Work both independently and collaboratively, adhering to client briefs and delivering engaging solutions.
• Enthusiasm for anime, Japanese pop culture and international films is a plus point.
