Civil Engineer – Job Requirements (Basic)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and monitor engineering drawings, design calculations, and technical documents.
   
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
   
• Oversee site work progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
   
• Assist in preparing project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
   
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions when issues arise.
   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
   
• Minimum 1–3 years relevant working experience (Fresh graduates may be considered).
   
• Knowledge of structural design, construction methods, and engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, etc.).
   
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
   
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
   
• Able to travel to site when required.
   
• Familiar with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements is an added advantage.
   

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in infrastructure, building construction, or structural works.
   
• Project management knowledge.
   
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
