Join INFLUASIA (WORLD OF BUZZ, LOBAK MERAH, NOODOU), Malaysia’s top Malay, English & Chinese language digital platform, as a Content Writer Intern! You’ll get to write stories that actually go viral, brainstorm creative ideas, and learn the ropes of digital media from one of the coolest teams around.

1. Research, write, and develop high-quality content for various platforms,

including websites, social media, emails, and other relevant marketing channels under our media brands. Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and consistent aligned with government guidelines.

2. Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, and overall coherence. Ensure content adheres to style guidelines and is free from errors.

Collaborate with writers to enhance the clarity and impact of their work.

3. Contribute to content planning and strategy development. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure content aligns with brand objectives and supports the government campaigns. Identify opportunities to optimize content for better engagement and results.

4. Understand and implement SEO best practices in content creation to improve

organic search visibility and drive traffic. Conduct keyword research and incorporaterelevant keywords naturally within the content.

5.Conduct thorough research on industry related topics and trends to gather accurate information and support content development. Verify facts, statistics, and references to maintain content credibility to government agencies.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and subject matter experts, to gather information and insights necessary for content creation.

7. Work closely with government officials to understand content requirements and

objectives.

8. Monitor and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and tools. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Use data driven insights to enhance content strategies and optimize content effectiveness.

9. Assist in promoting content through social media channels, email marketing, and other relevant platforms. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional plans that maximize content visibility and reach.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

● Proven experience as a content writer and editor, preferably in a digital marketing or

creative agency environment.

● Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

● Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style.

● Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research.

● Ability to adapt writing style and tone to target different audiences and platforms.

● Excellent research skills and the ability to gather information from reliable sources.

● Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and collaboration tools.

● Familiarity with social media platforms and content promotion strategies.

● Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and

meet deadlines.

● Creativity, resourcefulness, and a passion for storytelling.
