LOBAK MERAH, part of INFLUASIA’s leading digital media network, is looking for a Social Media Intern who’s fluent in Malay and obsessed with all things trending. JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and compelling social media content in Malay language (Lobak Merah). This includes developing creative ideas, writing captions, and creating visual assets for various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
2. Community Management: Monitor and engage with the Malay-speaking audience across social media platforms. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive and interactive online community by addressing concerns, providing information, and building relationships.
3. Social Media Monitoring: Monitor social media trends, topics, and conversations relevant to our brand and industry. Stay updated with the latest trends, viral content, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for engagement and content creation.
4. Analytics and Reporting: Assist in tracking social media performance using analytics tools. Analyze key metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions to gain insights and optimize content strategies. Prepare reports summarizing social media activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
5. Collaborative Projects: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to support integrated campaigns and initiatives. Assist in brainstorming sessions, contribute ideas, and help execute social media components of broader marketing strategies.
6. Research and Trend Analysis: Conduct research on industry-related topics, competitors, and best practices in social media marketing. Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and platform features to ensure our social media efforts remain effective and up-to-date.
7. Brand Guidelines and Quality Control: Maintain brand consistency by adhering to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity. Ensure all social media content aligns with brand values and resonates with the target audience. Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, grammar, and spelling in Malay language.
8. Learning and Development: Actively seek opportunities to learn and grow in the field of social media marketing. Stay curious, attend training sessions, and engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
   
   

Job Requirements

• Fluent proficiency in Malay language (Lobak Merah) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about social media, digital marketing, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Creativity and the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging social media content.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
