1. Assist in the measurement and taking-off quantities for M&E works from drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
2. Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documentation.
3. Support the preparation and evaluation of quotations and tender submissions.
4. Assist in reviewing M&E drawings, specifications, and scope of works to identify discrepancies or omissions.
5. Assist with the preparation and checking of progress claims and payment certificates.
6. Support the assessment and valuation of variation orders and additional works.
7. Assist in monitoring project costs and maintaining cost control records.
8. Assist in preparing material and subcontractor comparisons.
9. Support procurement activities, including obtaining quotations and evaluating subcontractor/supplier proposals.
10. Maintain proper documentation and records of measurements, quotations, claims, variations, and other commercial matters.
11. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members when required.
12. Attend site visits and project meetings to gain practical understanding of M&E works and project progress.
13. Perform other quantity surveying and commercial-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Surveying, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of M&E services such as electrical, mechanical, ELV systems is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of quantity measurement, construction drawings, and cost estimation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, measurement software, or other QS-related software is an advantage.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Cina.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
