Job Description

We are looking for a Project Engineer (Electrical) to support the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of electrical engineering projects. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, budget, and timeline.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience in Electrical Engineering, M&E, Electrical Contracting, Construction, Project Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

• Support the full project lifecycle, from design review, planning, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover. 
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. 
• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, BOQ, project requirements, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project standards. 
• Prepare, review, and submit technical documentation, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection reports, and project progress reports. 
• Coordinate site activities and monitor project progress to ensure work is completed according to schedule. 
• Assist in resolving technical, installation, and site-related issues during project execution. 
• Participate in site inspections, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and quality control activities. 
• Assist in project planning, cost control, material coordination, and project scheduling. 
• Monitor project risks, technical issues, and work progress and escalate concerns when necessary. 
• Ensure electrical works comply with relevant engineering standards, project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable regulations. 
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely project completion and successful handover.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, M&E Engineering, or a related discipline. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Project Engineering, M&E, Electrical Contracting, Construction, or related industries is preferred. 
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and relevant internship experience may also be considered. 
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, electrical installation, engineering drawings, project coordination, and project execution. 
• Familiar with AutoCAD, electrical drawings, shop drawings, BOQ, and technical documentation. 
• Experience in testing, commissioning, site inspection, or electrical project execution will be an added advantage. 
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and project management skills. 
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. 
• Willing to travel to project sites when required. 
• Candidates with Mandarin proficiency are encouraged to apply if the role requires communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders.
