We care about clean drawings, safe installations, and building technicians who can think on their feet.

This internship is about building real skills. You will support on-site wiring, help assemble test rigs and assist in preparing engineering drawings so our projects move from plan to powered-up reality. Expect to learn measurement techniques, basic circuit testing and how projects stay on schedule and on budget.

• Develop practical wiring and installation skills through supervised on-site tasks and small lab projects.
• Gain familiarity with engineering drawings and industry standards to make your designs construction-ready.
• Build confidence in progress reporting by preparing simple reports and update notes for senior engineers.
• Expand your toolkit with hands-on use of test meters, basic power tools and Microsoft Excel for simple calculations and logs.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Project Support

• Assist engineers on site with electrical wiring preparation and cable routing under supervision.
• Help organise materials, tools and test equipment so installation teams can work efficiently.
• Follow safety checklists and support basic commissioning steps during handover activities.

Technical Tasks

• Prepare and update simple engineering drawings and as-built notes using provided templates.
• Perform basic circuit continuity and insulation tests and log the results for review.
• Help fabricate wiring assemblies and label panels to match drawings and site standards.
• Support simple fault finding activities using multimeters and visual inspection techniques.

Reporting & Documentation

• Compile daily progress reports and material checklists to keep project tracking accurate.
• Record test results and hand them to supervising engineers for analysis and approval.
• Keep a tidy, searchable file of drawings, permits and handover documents for each job.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Zero to minimal industry experience is acceptable; this role is designed for learners and fresh graduates.
• Available to work on-site in Selangor and attend scheduled practical sessions and toolbox talks.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, single and three-phase supply, and protective devices.
• Comfortable reading and marking up engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel for logging, simple calculations and progress tracking.
• Able to use multimeters and basic testing equipment safely under supervision.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Communicate clearly with team members and report progress in writing when asked.
• Show attention to detail when following drawings, labelling cables and recording test data.
• Be proactive about safety, punctuality and learning from senior technicians.
• Work well in a small team and be open to feedback during hands-on training.
