Instamedia has delivered over 1,000 brand activations and events since 2012 for names like Nike, Toyota, YSL and Maybank. We build the interactive layer of an event: AI photo and video experiences, IN:FRAME™ booths, games and fully custom tech for launches, roadshows, mall activations and conferences.

We're hiring a Business Development Executive who already knows the events and agency world. You'll sell to event agencies, creative and PR agencies and brand teams. You'll own your accounts from the first call to repeat business, and work with our in-house creative and tech team to turn briefs into winning proposals.

What You'll Do

• Win new business with event agencies, creative and PR agencies, and brand marketing teams
• Build your own pipeline through your network, referrals, LinkedIn, industry events and direct outreach
• Turn client briefs into solutions, either ready-to-deploy experiences or custom builds scoped with our creative and tech team
• Run client meetings, pitches and discovery sessions, and prepare proposals and quotations
• Own each deal from first conversation through negotiation and closing
• Stay the commercial owner after confirmation, spotting scope changes and upsell opportunities during projects
• Re-engage past clients, dormant leads and lost pitches
• Work with our Project, Operations and Design teams so what's sold is what's delivered

• Basic salary of RM4,000 to RM6,000, plus commission

Job Requirements

Must Have

• At least 2 years in sales, business development or client servicing at an event, experiential, activation, MICE or creative agency, or selling into them
• A proven record of generating your own leads and closing new business
• An existing network among agency producers, account managers or brand marketing teams in Malaysia
• Experience selling project-based or customised solutions, not just catalogue products
• Confidence discussing budgets, pricing and scope
• Strong presentation, negotiation and follow-up discipline
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

• Experience with event technology, AV, photobooths, digital activations or interactive installations
• Curiosity about AI and emerging tech in brand experiences
