RM 800 - RM 1200
Instamedia has been building experiential activations and AI-powered brand-tech since 2012 — IN:FRAME™ AI photo-and-video booths, IMX Engine™ gamified AR/VR, and bespoke flagship installations for brands like Nike, YSL, Maybank and Huawei.
We're looking for a 3D Printing & Fabrication Intern to support the physical build side of our activations — prototyping booth components, custom props, and hardware housings for our gamified installations and sensor-based experiences.
What you'll do:
• Design and 3D print parts for booth fixtures, props, and protective housings
• Prototype components for hardware projects (e.g. sensor enclosures, mounting rigs)
• Support fabrication for bespoke flagship installations — cutting, assembly, finishing
• Iterate quickly on prototypes based on feedback from the design and ops teams
• Help maintain our 3D printers and fabrication tools
What we're looking for:
• Experience with 3D modelling software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Tinkercad, or similar)
• Hands-on with FDM or resin 3D printers — personal projects count
• Comfortable with basic hand tools and workshop safety
• Studying Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
• A portfolio or photos of things you've built or printed (even small projects)
Why intern with us:
• Your prototypes go straight into real client activations, not a drawer
• Hands-on exposure to experiential tech — AR/VR, sensors, custom hardware
• Work alongside our creative and ops teams on live projects for major brands
• Flexible, output-focused environment
Apply via Hiredly, or WhatsApp Bryan directly: 012-661 6973.
• Experience with 3D modelling software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Tinkercad, or similar)
• Hands-on with FDM or resin 3D printers, even on personal or school projects
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and following workshop safety practices
• Studying Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
Bonus points if you have a portfolio, photos, or files of things you've designed and printed before — show us what you've built.
