Job Description

The Institute of Enterprise Risk Practitioners (IERP®) is looking for an energetic and detail-focused Conference & Events Executive to assist with the comprehensive planning and execution of our conferences, networking events, and tea talks. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and prominent industry figures to ensure seamless programmes and exceptional participant experiences. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in programme development by performing research, suggesting relevant topics, and coordinating contributions from our internal team.
• Manage speaker coordination by identifying, inviting, and facilitating communication with speakers, moderators, and panellists.
• Foster sponsorship and partnership efforts by creating proposals, engaging with potential partners, and monitoring deliverables.
• Monitor project timelines to guarantee that milestones, logistics, and communications are executed on time.
• Contribute to event operations including managing registrations, coordinating vendors, overseeing on-site logistics, and handling participant communications.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to enhance future programmes.

Job Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
• Have 2 to 4 years of experience in organizing conferences and events, preferably with background in professional associations and corporate training.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities, as well as strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Possess confidence in interacting with senior professionals and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented attitude, with a keen attention to detail.
