Job Summary

You will be working with us at INTECH PUMPS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD. As our SalesEngineer (Outdoor), you will be the bridge between technical excellence and client success, ensuring businesses get the reliablesystems they need. Responsibilities

Business Development & Outreach

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through site visits, cold calls, and networking to help us grow ourmarket presence.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and technical discussions to understand customer requirements so that we can recommend theperfect industrial pump solutions.
  • Recommend tailored technical solutions based on client needs, allowing you to act as a problem-solver for complex industrialchallenges.

Relationship Management & Negotiation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, allowing you to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunitiesthat benefit both the client and our team.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to help us achieve our expansion goals while ensuring fair value for our partners.
  • Participate in clientele engagement activities, such as networking events and site visits, to help us foster a community of long-term trust.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the technical and after-sales teams to ensure smooth project delivery, allowing us to maintain our reputation forhigh customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with our Indoor Sales Department for the preparation of quotations and proposals, giving you more time to focus onhigh-impact outdoor client engagement.


Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • 2 to 3 years of sales experience specifically within industrial machinery, pumps, or related technical products.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or a related field) is considered a strong advantage.
  • Hard Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial pumps and fluid handling systems.
  • Ability to conduct professional product demonstrations and lead technical discussions on-site.
  • Proficiency in navigating sales cycles for technical equipment and machinery.

Soft Skills & Qualities

  • Confident communicator with solid negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly with technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel for outdoor sales activities and engage in team-building events.
  • Good command in mandarin is a must.

  • Salary range: RM 4000 to RM 5500.
