Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our growing team. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and product owners to ensure our web and mobile applications are stable, reliable, and meet client requirements before deployment.

This role is for someone who enjoys finding issues, documenting them clearly, and helping the team deliver high-quality software to clients across F&B, logistics, insurance, and e-commerce industries.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Execution

• Understand project requirements, user flows, and acceptance criteria
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Conduct manual testing for web, mobile (iOS/Android), and API endpoints
• Writing test code for E2E test and component test
   

2. Functional & Regression Testing

• Perform system testing, UAT testing, and regression testing
• Validate UI/UX consistency, business logic, and data accuracy
• Check API responses using Postman (optional but an advantage)
   

3. Bug Reporting & Verification

• Log bugs clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots, and logs
• Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes
• Retest resolved issues and ensure stability before deployment
   

4. Documentation & Quality Tracking

• Maintain detailed records of test results and release notes
• Update testing documentation and checklists
• Ensure all work is traceable, structured, and follows QA standards
   

5. Collaboration & Communication

• Work with PMs to support client UAT
• Communicate potential risks, edge cases, and improvement ideas
• Support production issues by identifying root causes (non-technical)

Job Requirements

Must-Have

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
• Basic understanding of SDLC, testing concepts, and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think from a user’s perspective
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Able to write structured test cases and clear bug reports
   

Good to Have (Bonus)

• Experience in testing web & mobile apps
• Experience with Postman (API testing)
• Understanding of UI/UX behaviour
• Familiar with tools like Jira, Trello, Git, or similar
• Knowledge of automation testing (not required but a plus)
• Experience working in a software house or agency environment
