Job Description

 1. Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Assist Senior Purchasing Executive to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for FMCG, frozen products, RTE meals, and Buraqcool
• Manage delivery schedules, and rebates
• Ensure suppliers comply with halal, food safety, and regulatory requirements

2. Procurement Planning

• To compile sales data, stock movement and outlet demand to forecast purchasing needs
• To prepare purchase orders (PO) to avoid stocks-outs while minimizing overstock
• Support hub & spoke distribution planning to ensure timely supply to outlets
• Prepare, issues, and track POs in AutoCount POS/ERP
• Verify suppliers invoices, delivery orders (DO) and GRN (goods received notes)
• Handle discrepancies (shortages, damages, incorrect pricing) through debit/credit notes
• Maintain proper records for audit and reporting

4. Inventory & Stock Monitoring

• To assist Senior Purchasing Executive to monitor stock levels at warehouse and outlets to trigger timely replenishment
• To coordinate with warehouse team for stock allocation and delivery
• Track expiry dates, slow-moving and fast-moving items to adjust purchase decisions
• Ensure FIFO principles are followed in replenishment

Job Requirements

Education:

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Knowledge of AutoCount POS/ERP or other inventory systems is an advantage
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Good understanding of inventory management and retail operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools

Years of Experience:

• 1-2 years of purchasing/ procurement experience (retail/FMGG preferred)
