Job Description

  •  Assist in arranging business development meetings with prospective clients. 
  • Support in servicing and nurturing existing client relationships through phone calls, follow-ups, and event coordination.
  • Learn to understand client needs and help in preparing personalized proposals or solutions under guidance.
  • Assist in identifying and researching potential new clients through various business development techniques.
  • Support the sales process by helping with lead generation, preparing sales materials, and coordinating meetings.
  • Shadow and assist in client consultations to understand how companies use news and social media data to inform strategy.
  • Assist in tracking the end-to-end sales process — from prospecting to follow-ups and after-sales support.
  • Help manage and update the CRM with inbound and self-sourced leads; assist in identifying and organizing prospect information.
  • Learn to guide prospects through the sales journey by participating in calls or demos alongside the sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Client Success, Operations, and Legal to support smooth coordination and follow-up tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Data Science/Analytics, or any related field.
  • Interest or academic background in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Strong communication skills in English — both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Good understanding of market trends and a genuine interest in business strategy and client engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
  • Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience in customer service, campus sales, or student organizations is a plus.
