Job Description

Internship (Material Compliance)

• Engaged in regulatory compliance-based activities (RoHS, REACH, IMDS, customer compliance lists etc.) such as understanding product structure of electronic components and learning the roles and function of regulatory compliance in the manufacturing world.
• Utilizing the knowledge of regulatory compliance to perform tasks like ensuring submissions from manufacturers/supplier meets criteria in different Jabil sites around the world.
• Understanding the function of different substances and materials in different electronic components and the tools involved to collect such information.
• Using tools like SAP EHSM to learn BOM organization skills like BOM Scrubbing and BOM Prepping and understanding the function of SAP EHSM in maintaining regulatory compliance data.
• Explore third party tools such as IMDS to explore its role in the automotive aspect of electronic components and understanding its impact in influencing automotive designs.
