Job Description

We're looking for a creative and data-savvy Video Content Creator to produce high-converting content for our ecommerce brand. You'll own the full content pipeline, from concept to final cut, and using tools like CapCut (剪影/Jianying) and AI-powered workflows to produce scroll-stopping videos across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Job Description

1. Conceptualise, script, shoot (or source UGC), edit, and publish short-form videos (15–90 sec) focused on product storytelling, reviews, and promotions.
2. Use CapCut (Jianying / 剪影) as the primary editing tool for all content production.
3. Write and iterate on AI prompts (text-to-video, text-to-image, voiceover, script generation) to speed up content production without sacrificing quality.
4. Track performance metrics (views, watch time, CTR, conversions) and use insights to continuously improve content strategy.
5. Stay up to date with trending formats, audio, hooks, and ecommerce content trends across platforms.
6. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align content with campaigns, launches, and promotions.

Job Requirements

1. Experience creating short-form video content, ideally in an ecommerce or product marketing context.
2. Proficient in CapCut (Jianying / 剪影) — you know your way around templates, auto-captions, effects, and multi-track editing.
3. Hands-on experience with AI tools for content production, and prompt writing for image/video generation (e.g. Midjourney, jimeng, Runway, Pika, ElevenLabs) or LLMs for scripting.
4. Strong communication skills, written and spoken. Ability to write compelling hooks, CTAs, and captions.
5. Solid understanding of what makes ecommerce content convert.
6. Self-starter who can manage their own content calendar and hit deadlines without hand-holding.
