Position Summary

The Video Editor is responsible for producing engaging and high-performing short-form and long-form video content across JAM's social media channels, client campaigns, KOL content, and livestream marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

• Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, and other social media platforms. 
• Edit promotional videos, campaign videos, livestream highlights, and branded content. 
• Create engaging video cuts that maximize audience retention and performance. 
• Incorporate captions, graphics, transitions, sound effects, and motion elements where appropriate. 

Content Optimization

• Understand social media trends and platform best practices. 
• Collaborate with content creators and strategists to improve content performance. 
• Adapt editing styles based on different creators, brands, and campaign objectives. 
• Ensure all content is optimized for platform-specific requirements. 

Creative Contribution

• Contribute ideas for content hooks, storytelling, and editing approaches. 
• Assist in planning content formats and video concepts. 
• Stay updated on content trends, editing techniques, and emerging social media formats. 

Asset Management

• Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and content libraries. 
• Ensure timely delivery of all assigned projects. 
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and creative direction. 

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Adobe After Effects. 
• Strong understanding of social media content and digital storytelling. 
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Good sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and audience engagement. 
• Experience in editing content for e-commerce, creators, or livestream businesses is an advantage. 
• Basic motion graphics knowledge is preferred.
