Job Description

  • Identify, target, and co-develop new agricultural irrigation business opportunities.
  • Provide technical support, system design, and consultation for irrigation projects, including layout planning and product selection.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to understand on-ground requirements and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and tenders with accurate technical and commercial details.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and presentations to negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, purchasing, business support) and external partners to ensure smooth execution and after-sales support.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging irrigation technologies.
  • Maintain updated CRM (C4C) records, track project pipelines, and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Act responsibly at all times to comply with the Group’s and Company’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures and work instructions.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Agrotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales or technical roles related to agriculture, irrigation, or water management systems. 
  • Proven experience in managing agricultural or plantation-based projects is highly advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of irrigation system design (drip, sprinkler, micro, pivot, etc.), pumping systems, filtration units, fertigation, and automation controls.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Commercially driven with a strong sense of customer service and relationship-building.
  • Basic understanding of agronomy and crop water requirements is advantageous
