Job Description

Jobholder is responsible to Food Department’s sales and income targets by identifying own sales pipeline and qualifying opportunities for the range of food products sold and assigned by the Company. 

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance, operational efficiency, and strong teamwork. 
  • Drive sales growth by identifying, promoting, and developing opportunities for assigned products and solutions. 
  • Develop sales plans, secure orders, and achieve assigned sales and revenue targets. 
  • Identify new customers and business opportunities to expand market presence. 
  • Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and product demonstrations for prospective customers. 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and proactive engagement. 
  • Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities, and provide timely feedback to management. 
  • Prepare product costing, quotations, and commercial proposals. 
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and effectively. 
  • Submit regular sales reports, activity plans, and updates on sales progress and challenges. 
  • Attend project site meetings when required to ensure smooth project execution and handover. 
  • Follow up on sales orders and ensure timely collection of payments within approved credit terms.

Job Requirements

  •  Degree in any discipline, preferably Food Science & Technology.
  • Preferably with at least 3 years sales experience in similar industry.
  • Solid foundation in technology – computer skills and CRM experience a plus.
