Job Description

The Project/Program Sr. Engineer/Manager is responsible for managing new and existing customer projects within the subsidiary’s environment (Penang, Butterworth, Sg. Petani), ensuring successful execution from RFQ stage until mass production and delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for our portfolio of corporate clients across China region, managing end-to-end communication. Project/Program 项目管理工程师／项目管理经理负责管理集团旗下子公司（槟城、北海及双溪大年）的新项目及现有客户项目，确保项目从报价（RFQ）阶段至量产及交付的整个生命周期顺利执行。同时，担任中国区企业客户的主要联络窗口，负责项目的端到端沟通与协调 

This role acts as the key coordinator between customers, internal departments, suppliers, and management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer quality expectations. 此职位为客户、公司内部各部门、供应商及管理层之间的主要协调人，确保项目能够按时、按预算完成，并符合客户对品质及交付的要求。

Candidate shall drive cross-functional communication, risk management, cost control, schedule management, and customer satisfaction. Proficient in English, Chinese due to projects requirements. 候选人需具备优秀的跨部门沟通与协调能力，能够有效推动项目进度，负责风险管理、成本控制、项目时程管理及提升客户满意度。 由于工作涉及中国地区客户及项目，候选人必须具备良好的**英语及中文（普通话）**听、说、读、写能力，以确保与客户及跨区域团队进行有效沟通 。

Job Requirements

Project Management:

• Lead and manage customer projects from RFQ, NPI, pilot run, ramp-up, until mass production. 负责领导及管理客户项目，从**报价（RFQ）、新产品导入（NPI）、试产（Pilot Run）、产能爬坡（Ramp-up）直至量产（Mass Production）**的整个项目生命周期 
• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. 制定并维护项目计划，包括项目时间表、关键里程碑及交付成果，确保项目按计划推进 
• Monitor project progress and ensure all activities are completed according to schedule. 持续监控项目进度，确保各项工作按既定时程顺利完成 
• Coordinate engineering changes, qualification activities, and production readiness. 协调工程变更（Engineering Change）、产品认证/资格验证（Qualification）及生产准备工作（Production Readiness），确保项目顺利导入量产 
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation plans.  
• 识别并管理项目风险，制定及落实风险缓解与应对措施，降低项目执行风险

Customer Communication:

• Act as the primary interface between customer and internal teams. Bilingual fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) in English and Chinese is highly advantageous to effectively support key account clients from China. 担任客户与公司内部团队之间的主要沟通窗口，负责协调及管理项目相关事宜。具备流利的**英语及中文（普通话）**听、说、读、写能力者优先，以有效支持中国地区重点客户 
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide project status updates to customers. 定期召开项目会议，并向客户提供项目进度汇报，确保项目资讯透明且沟通顺畅 
• Handle customer escalations, technical discussions, and delivery commitments. 负责处理客户升级事项（Customer Escalation）、技术讨论及交付承诺，确保客户需求获得及时响应与妥善解决 
• Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and executed internally. 确保客户需求、技术规格及项目要求能够准确传达至公司内部相关部门，并推动各部门有效执行，确保符合客户期望 

Cross Functional Coordination 与以下部门保持紧密合作与协调:

• Ensure alignment among all departments to support project objectives.

NPI & Manufacturing Support 支持新产品导入:

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. 
• Ensure readiness for: 
• Tooling / Jig & Fixture 模具／治具与夹具
• Material 物料准备
• Capacity planning 产能规划

 Schedule & Delivery Management 项目进度与交付管理 :

• Ensure project milestones and customer delivery schedules are achieved. 确保项目关键里程碑及客户交付计划按时达成 
• Coordinate recovery plans for delays or supply chain issues. 针对项目延误或供应链异常，协调制定并推动改善及恢复计划 
• Monitor material readiness and production capacity to avoid shipment impact. 监控物料准备状态及生产产能，避免影响产品出货及客户交付 

Documentation & Reporting 文件管理与项目报告 :

• Maintain proper project documentation and records in both English & Chinese. 
• Prepare:      
• Project schedules / Meeting minutes 项目进度计划 / 会议纪要
• Action item tracking 行动事项追踪 
• Weekly/monthly management reports 每周／每月管理层报告 
• Customer presentation materials 客户汇报资料 
• Ensure all project documents are properly controlled and updated. 

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in: Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrial Management / related field
