Ready to lead piping works and keep site installation on track?

Join Jiangsu Installation Sdn. Bhd. (JSI) and oversee piping installation from site coordination and fabrication through testing, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise plumbing, fire protection, chilled water, compressed air and process piping works.
• Coordinate site activities based on approved drawings, Method Statements and project schedules.
• Prepare Method Statements, technical briefings, material plans and inspection & test plans.
• Review piping layouts, elevations, gradients, supports, valves, equipment connections and maintenance clearances.
• Coordinate piping works with architectural, structural, electrical, ductwork and other services.
• Manage piping subcontractors, welders, installation teams, materials and equipment.
• Supervise pipe fabrication, welding, grooved connections, installation, flushing, pressure testing, insulation and commissioning.
• Maintain site measurements, construction records, welding records, test reports and as-built documentation.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, M&E Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of site piping experience with a building or M&E main contractor.
• Familiar with Malaysian requirements for piping, plumbing, fire protection and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of relevant Malaysian Standards, BOMBA, SPAN, DOSH/JKKP and local authority requirements.
• Able to prepare piping Method Statements, pressure-testing and flushing procedures.
• Able to read and interpret piping layouts, schematics, PFDs, isometric drawings and equipment drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; piping detailing and coordination experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of welding quality control, welder certification, WPS/PQR and basic NDT is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Valid CIDB registration or relevant construction competency certification is an advantage.
