Join Jiangsu Installation Sdn. Bhd. (JSI) and take a key role in managing the technical delivery of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and other M&E systems across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical management and coordination of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and related M&E systems.
- Review drawings, specifications, equipment data and BOQs to identify clashes, omissions and construction risks.
- Manage M&E detailed design, drawing optimisation and coordinated services layouts.
- Prepare and review Method Statements, technical submissions, material/equipment submissions and RFIs.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural teams, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor site quality, progress, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Oversee M&E inspections, defect rectification, as-built drawings and O&M documentation.
- Support the Project Manager with planning, resources, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in M&E, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a main contractor or M&E design consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of M&E design, construction, testing, commissioning and quality requirements in Malaysia.
- Familiar with relevant requirements including UBBL, Malaysian Standards, MS/IEC, ST, BOMBA, DOSH/JKKP and SPAN.
- Able to independently handle construction methodologies, M&E detailing, drawing optimisation and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit, Navisworks or MS Project is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Strong technical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in industrial plants, cleanrooms, data centres or major M&E projects is an advantage.
- BEM registration or eligibility is an advantage.
