Job Description

Love live events and creating moments that matter? Working with us at Jiggee (M) Sdn Bhd means you join an experiential events team that produces corporate conferences, gala dinners, product launches, brand activations, team-building programmes and special events. We focus on clear planning, thoughtful design and on-site delivery that connects brands to people in memorable ways.

As an Event Executive you will be a builder who turns creative ideas into repeatable, high-quality event productions. You will support planning and coordination, manage timelines and budgets, and lead on-site execution while helping to standardise processes so each event runs smoother than the last.

You will collaborate closely with creative and production colleagues, vendors and clients to align show flow, technical needs and logistics. Success looks like accurate run sheets, on-budget delivery, satisfied clients and reliable vendor relationships. Expect hands-on days, flexible hours and occasional travel across Malaysia when events demand it.

Your Growth & Impact

  • Accelerate your event production skills by running rehearsals, overseeing registration, managing backstage flow and coordinating dismantling for varied event formats.
  • Build client-facing experience through clear brief-taking, timely updates, polished proposals and professional follow-through that strengthen client trust.
  • Expand your operational toolkit by owning timelines, budget trackers, purchase orders and post-event reports for multiple projects at once.
  • Strengthen your vendor and supplier network by negotiating, coordinating and managing relationships with venues, AV partners, entertainers and production houses.
  • Grow your leadership readiness by supervising on-site teams, troubleshooting under pressure and shaping process improvements that reduce last-minute issues.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Event Operations

  • Build and maintain clear run sheets, floorplans and production schedules for conferences, gala dinners, product launches, brand activations and team-building programmes.
  • Own on-site execution: manage setup, rehearsals, registration, backstage flow and dismantling to keep events on time and calm.
  • Coordinate AV, staging and equipment handoffs with production partners to reduce technical risk during shows.
  • Supervise on-site crews and provide practical troubleshooting when issues arise to protect the guest experience.

Client & Vendor Management

  • Take clear client briefs, translate requirements into delivery plans and provide timely status updates throughout the project.
  • Source, negotiate and manage relationships with venues, AV partners, entertainers and other suppliers to secure value and reliability.
  • Prepare polished proposals and quotations that reflect scope, cost and timelines, then follow through to client sign-off.
  • Maintain vendor contact lists and post-event feedback so future bookings run smoother and costs are predictable.

Production Administration

  • Maintain budget trackers, purchase orders and event reports to ensure projects stay on budget and documented.
  • Produce post-event summaries with learnings and recommendations to improve repeatability and reduce last-minute issues.
  • Use project checklists and task trackers to manage multiple events concurrently with clear ownership and deadlines.
  • Support creative and production teams by translating concepts into practical show flows and technical requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, entertainment, production or experiential marketing is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Fresh graduates with strong initiative and a positive, hands-on attitude are encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel across Malaysia and internationally when events require it; valid driving licence and access to personal transport are a plus.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken; ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word, and comfortable preparing proposals, budgets and production timelines.
  • Familiarity with event production basics including audiovisual equipment, staging, lighting and show management.
  • Experience with Canva, AI productivity tools or project management platforms will help you move faster day-to-day.

Soft Skills & Qualities

  • Genuine passion for live events and experiential marketing, with a hands-on, service-focused mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills, multitasking ability and time management to handle multiple projects without dropping details.
  • Confident communicator who works well independently and as part of a small team, and who maintains professional composure under pressure.
  • Punctual, reliable and honest in all dealings, with the resilience to adapt when event plans change at short notice.
