Job Description

• Prepare and update project cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
• Conduct site costing, tracking labor, material, and subcontractor costs on a daily/weekly basis
• Monitor actual vs. planned costs and provide regular cost reports to management
• Evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors, considering both cost and quality to ensure value for money
• Source, compare, and negotiate with suppliers, making informed decisions on material and service selection
• Assist in budget control, cost analysis, and forecasting, highlighting opportunities for savings or efficiency
• Coordinate closely with site and project teams to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality
• Assist in preparing progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures and project requirements

Job Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering or related fields
• Must be able to communicate in Chinese, as you’ll liaise with suppliers from China
• At least 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying in construction industry
• Good understanding of construction processes, materials, and site operations
• Good coordination, negotiation, and analytical skills
