Job Purpose and Impact

The Engineering Discipline Associate Director will manage and execute overall governance on standards, application, gaps, solutions and measurements to drive competitive capital projects within the region. In this role, you will lead a team that executes activities and provides support for all engineering disciplines to enable strategic regional growth projects and improve our capabilities by providing engineering leadership for the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner collaboratively with leadership to ensure compliance for all of the engineering discipline standards, policies, procedures and job aids with regulatory standards and alignment with global, regional and industry standards.
  • Oversee advanced execution and support for the localization of engineering discipline deliverables in regional capital projects.
  • Lead and track accountability metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor the regional performance benchmark metrics and measurement to drive competitive capital project.
  • Perform value engineering analysis, quality control and quality assurance for the engineering deliverables developed for capital projects within your region.
  • Analyze and execute recommendations in areas of improvement and implement solutions to improve performance and identify acceptable risk tolerance.
  • Communicate feedback to organizational teams at a global level based on regional experience of engineering disciplines.
  • Plan, prioritize and coordinate engineering discipline resources required for normal operations.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to translate highly technical information across all levels of technical knowledge
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with food manufacturing or agricultural industries
  • Experience with the project delivery process
