JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement progressive talent management and succession planning policies and processes
  • Develop and manage assessment and development programs for high potentials and successors
  • Develop talent pipeline programs to support business needs and succession planning
  • Ensure the talent and succession processes are implemented, communicated and integrated across the business
  • Enhance the tools and processes used to support Talent Council initiatives which include the accurate identification of high-potential talents, specialists, critical positions, talent development plans, job enrichments, and succession planning for critical positions
  • Manage post-talent review processes that ensure proper follow-through of actions determined at talent council sessions
  • Management of talent development programs such as mentorship and leadership development programs
  • Analyse and synthesize talent data from various sources into meaningful conclusions that enhance fact-based talent decision-making
  • Develop, monitor, and report key talent metrics
  • Engage talent in their career and developmental needs via the Individual Development Plan
  • Monitor and report on the progress of each talent's development initiatives as per outlined in their respective Individual Development Plan

Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Management and Organisation Development, the job holder will be responsible for the talent management programs for IJM Corporations and all its subsidiaries, and serve as a strategic partner to the various operating companies' senior management teams to develop talent management policies, pipeline programs, and career pathing frameworks. The job holder will implement progressive talent management, development, and engagement programs with the objective of developing, and retaining the best employees. Key responsibilities include talent and succession reviews, talent assessment, succession planning, talent development, competency development, career pathing, and pipeline programs.
