provide support to customer for all products and perform troubleshooting on all field inquiries to assure optimal levels of customer satisfaction and customer service
practical support and solution-oriented consulting for Beckhoff customers via remote maintenance and on site
resolve customer issues in a timely manner to keep downtime to a minimum
support our customers who have hardware and software issues in the following languages: C++, Visual Basic, IEC 61131-3 on PC-based platforms
monitor all assigned cases for customer support and update all activities on company tracking system
manage all customer issues and, if required, escalate them to required departments
develop and disseminate technical user documentation for products
handle detailed technical queries in cooperation with product management and development
maintain accurate customer documents and prepare reports for all issues and resolutions
develop machine programs according to customer specifications in the following languages: C++, Visual Basic, IEC 61131-3 on PC-based platforms
offer standard and custom training to provide support for Beckhoff products and customer solution.
document and record all service, support, and project activities
programming support for our customers’ applications in high-level languages (C#, C++, .NET, Visual Basic) on a PC-based platform
this role requires travel 70% of the time
Qualifications
bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation/Electronics & Electrical Engineering (or IT)
profound knowledge of PC technology, fieldbus systems, software
0–3 years of experience in industrial automation system integration
recent graduates are encouraged to apply
knowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming languages is a plus
knowledge of object-oriented extensions, C#, C++, Python, and Objective-C programming is a plus
knowledge of electrical schematics is a plus

a team player with communication skills
understanding of PLCs, motion controllers, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems (EtherCAT) and HMI technology
