Director – Project Management (India)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to oversee the development, planning and execution of operational utility-scale renewable energy projects in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple installations simultaneously and ensuring that projects are completed in a high-quality, profitable, safe and zero-incident manner.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Manage the development, planning, and execution of operational utility-scale renewable energy projects from mid-stage development through engineering, procurement, and construction according to design requirements and within established timeframes and budget
- Oversee project managers managing the project EPC contractor and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure a safe, successful project

Director – HSSE (India)
Job Description
This position plays a key role in defining and shaping HSSE culture and performance at Cleantech Solar (India & Southeast Asia) and supporting overall HSSE functional excellence. The applicant will assume overall responsibilities in Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) and Social Performance (SP).

Principal Accountabilities:
- Lead the HSSE&SP organisation within Cleantech Solar through planning, execution, and implementation of HSSE systems and processes
- Develop Cleantech Solar’s HSSE&SP strategy to support the safe delivery of the company’s business activities and the achievement of the strategic HSSE performance target of Goal Zero

Head – Wind Resource (India)
Job Description
This position will lead the execution of the company’s wind projects in India.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for operational level understanding of requirements and end-to-end execution of wind projects as per requirements and good engineering practices
- Plan and arrange pre-bid site visits to finalise onsite execution strategy and help proposal teams with inputs for bidding / budgeting
- Be actively involved in discussions with Wind turnkey agencies and evaluate each agency for potential collaboration

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wind Resource Assessor for our wind energy projects in India.

Job Description
This position will form part of Cleantech Solar’s HSSE & SP Team and will report to the HSSE & SP Director. The primary purpose of the role will be to deliver Goal Zero HSSE performance in solar projects and operations at Cleantech Solar.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Guide, support and facilitate ownership, implementation and improvement of HSSE requirements including workplace safety, personal safety, asset integrity and management of health, security and environmental hazards
- Assist and assure contractors’ compliance to HSSE plan & program
- Ensure implementation of the risk management process at Cleantech Solar locations
- Register all incidents in Cleantech Solar incident database, perform investigations, contribute to Contractors’ investigations to understand the causes and influencing factors
- Manage HSSE&SP Performance Reporting and Assurance process, custodian of HSSE performance scorecard, tracking of trends, analysis of HSSE&SP data
- Manage the tracking of HSSE actions and provide input to management for status and closure update on actions arising from incidents, audits and HSSE improvement plans

Job Description

Job Description
This position will be part of the Project Management team in Indonesia and the individual will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed in a high-quality, profitable, safe and zero-incident manner.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Liaising with all relevant government agencies and statutory bodies in relation to all the necessary licences and permits and ensure timely compliance with all statutory and legal requirements
- Taking full responsibility for planning, managing and controlling all works in the project covering support for Business Development (BD) team in project development phase, conducting technical due diligence and reporting, giving input and review in engineering and design, procurement and logistic planning and other works throughout the project life cycle
- Conducting regular supervision and reviews on project and EPC’s performance and initiating preventative/remedial actions to ensure projects are delivered in a safe manner/zero accident; meeting Company’s quality expectations and complete projects within planned schedule
- Establishing and executing procedures for efficient operational reporting, managing critical milestones and identifying and mitigating risks
- Promoting and participating in project health, safety and environmental requirements with a strong sense of ownership for compliance to meet Company’s and local standards
- Coordinating across functions with other departments such as BD, Operations & Maintenance, Legal, Finance, etc.
- Liaising, acting professionally and maintaining good relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing and maintaining project documents, reports, checklist, construction and as-built drawings and other related documents as per Company’s standard operating procedures
- Participating and being involved in operations and maintenance activities
Requirements
- Recognised Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil) preferred
- 5+ years of commercial and industrial construction experience in the solar/renewable energy sector
- Experience in project management and managing contractors
- Highly responsible, organised, adept in planning and possessing good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines

Engineering Manager – Malaysia
Job Description
Cleantech Solar is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to add to our rapidly expanding team of technical professionals. The Engineering Manager reports to Vice President – Engineering and will lead and manage the engineering team based out of Malaysia.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Being responsible for technical designs, both structural and electrical, at various stages from conceptual design to detailed engineering designs and ensure compliance with standards and codes
- Coordinating with various internal and external teams, engineers, consultants and authorities to assess the project viability and resolve technical issues for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects
- Establishing processes, standards, tools and templates for the engineering team to deliver industry leading designs and optimised solar photovoltaic projects
- Reviewing, commenting and approving documents or drawings submitted by contractors before construction
- Possessing the ability to create and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Request for Proposals (RFP)
- Conducting site visits to project sites from opportunity to project implementation and resolving PV system challenges
- Holding design review meetings with internal and external stakeholders as needed to maintain proper quality assurance and quality controls on projects
- Assisting development team, construction team and operations team with engineering- related questions
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously, managing competing priorities and overcoming obstacles to successfully meet project milestones
- Possessing good understanding on design aspects related to medium voltage design requirements on 11/33/kV networks
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline
- 10+ years of project engineering or design experience
(Those with less experience may apply for the role of Systems Engineer) - Working knowledge of construction and electrical principles
- Solar photovoltaic system design experience is a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
- Experience with MS Project, Sketchup and PVsyst is a plus
- Highly organised and proactive
- Eager to learn and develop a deeper understanding of PV design and construction
- Able to work independently and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Able to work in tandem with a global team of internal and external stakeholders
- Must be able to travel as required

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the O&M team to analyse the trends in order to ensure optimal performance of deployed PV systems.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Daily system checks, analysis and troubleshooting, if any
- Travel to sites in all Malaysia regions; focusing mainly on Kuala Lumpur / Penang
- Manage contractors to maintain system performance; all to be carried out in a safe manner
- Manage documentation, invoices, reports and daily permit approval by Cleantech Solar for external parties to work at sites
Requirements
- Fresh graduates with a Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred but open to other Engineering fields as training will be provided

- Identifying, targeting, contacting potential customers that fit the company’s criteria
- Engaging, promoting and convincing customers of the benefits of the solution
- Supporting company-organised events and seminars with audiences of potential target customers
- Participating in trade events with a view to network and generate leads
- Generating offers for long-term rooftop solar PV solutions for industrial and large commercial customers
- Playing an active role in long-term agreement negotiations

Accounts Receivable and General Ledger Accountant – Thailand
Job Description
This position will be under the Corporate Treasury team with involvement in liquidity management, cash flow forecast, debt financing and capital structuring.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Accounts Receivable
- Manage monthly invoicing process
- Answer customers’ queries on invoicing
- Coordinate with outsourced accountants to prepare monthly output VAT report in a timely manner and perform revenue reconciliation between PP30 vs GL on a monthly basis across all channels
- Validate and ensure that all bank incoming items have been monitored and recorded properly in a timely manner
- Coordinate with other departments relating to the Accounts Receivable process
- Handle ad-hoc financial/accounting assignments
General Ledger
- Support outsourced accountants in month-end closing and reporting process
- Responsible for posting journal entries into the accounting system
- Ensure timely preparation and review of monthly financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards such as IFRS and Thai GAAP
- Manage annual audit and draft statutory financial statements
- Work closely with SEA accounting team and other teams
- Assist in annual audit-related requests
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years’ experience in the Accounts Receivable function
- Fluent English skills in speaking, reading and writing
