The Engineering Supervisor ensures ongoing day to day building and decoration maintenance, as well as preventative maintenance, is carried out in an efficient and timely manner according to Engineering practices.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine property inspections as directed to determine maintenance requirements or upgrades and improvements to the property and its assets.
• Assigns tasks and job requests to subordinate associates and supervises the completion of such assignments.
• Assists in the maintenance of efficient administration preparing and submitting daily reports on time to the Engineering office.
• Take ownership of work in progress and coordinates follow-up activities with fellow Duty Engineers.
• Checks and maintains the hotel air-conditioning systems, sanitary systems, wastewater treatment systems, freezers, fridges, fire systems, swimming pools, and any additional mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.

Requirements

• Technical certificate or secondary school education
• Sound practical knowledge of working practices of the Engineering Department
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Able to maintain consistent performances under pressure
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia
