Job Description

The Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for implementing HR initiatives that align with the overall business objectives and working closely with various departments to provide guidance and support on various HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Planning: Collaborate with the Head of HR to understand strategic HR priorities and develop  HR strategies that support the achievement of those goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, participate in the recruitment process, and drive initiatives to attract top-quality candidates.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and suitable training programs and support managers in providing ongoing coaching and feedback to employees.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive work culture, enhance employee engagement, and promote employee well-being.
  • HR Policy Development: Support the development, revision and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement, HR Metrics and Reporting: Collaborate with HR teams in schools to streamline HR processes and workflows, Track and analyse HR metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, efficiency enhancement and support data-driven decision-making.
Reporting Line:
  • Head of HR, Malaysia Key Stakeholders
  • The company's Regional Team
  • School HR Teams, and other relevant stakeholders across the regional school network


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Stakeholder Management skills and good interpersonal skills
