IT expert in managing production data and able to provide support pertaining to data quality.
Work closely with systems/ data owners to understand data sources from various forms, such as relational databases and data files.
Design/ Optimize data model and data ingestion pipeline (ETL) to get data ready for reporting and analysis.
Identify, design, and implement system and process improvements such as automating manual processes, finetune application architecture and re-designing infrastructure landscape for scalability.
Bachelor's or Master degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering fields.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering. 5 years of experience is required for senior position.
Critical/ Analytical thinking and solid experience working on databases and data engineering.
Technical skill: PL/SQL, ETL, DotNet, Web Services, Python, Linux, NIFI, KAFKA, Data serialization format (AVRO, Parquet, Json, XML).
Experience in manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
