Key Account Manager - Specialty Chemical (Pulp Paper)

Kuala Lumpur Permanent MYR120,000 - MYR144,000 per year

The Company is a global MNC which is rapidly growing in the chemicals industry, specialising in providing innovative solutions for the pulp and paper sector. They are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their growing team.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the pulp and paper industry.
• Understand client needs and objectives, and align our product and service offerings to meet their requirements.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
• Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue.
• Develop account strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets.
• Negotiate and close agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our chemical products, their applications, and their value propositions.
• Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and forecasts.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• More than 5 years experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role within the chemicals industry for pulp amd paper.
• Strong understanding of the pulp and paper industry and its key players.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients.
