About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Degree or Master in Law or equivalent
  • Approximately 2-4 years of overall privacy compliance experience.
  • Working knowledge of global privacy regulations.

It would be great if you are . . .

  • Experience in reviewing and redlining agreements to ensure appropriate privacy protection in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Comfortable with researching and evaluating privacy law implications (new, existing and enhanced)
  • Experience responding to customer due diligence questionnaire.
  • Experience working in an advisory capacity (either internally or externally)

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Review vendor privacy assessments for compliance, identifying risks and conducting follow-up with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Review vendor and customer contracts for appropriate privacy language and data protection agreements.
  • Respond to data subject requests, includes investigating potential complaints and escalating when needed.
  • Monitor global privacy regulations, evaluate potential impact to Clarivate, communicate regulatory overview to privacy team, legal and other management stakeholders and develop internal privacy alerts.
  • Assist with the implementation of compliance controls to ensure alignment with privacy regulatory requirements and best practices.

The Global Privacy team comprises colleagues situated in the United States, London, and Malaysia, each bringing a deep array of professional experiences. We function cohesively by providing mutual support to attain both individual and collective objectives. We balance autonomy and collaboration, coming together when necessary to assist the organization in achieving privacy compliance.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position with normal working hour.
