Job Description

We are currently hiring a BIM Modeller / Designer to support in electrical building services. This role is responsible for developing detailed BIM models, preparing design documentation, and supporting engineering teams throughout project lifecycles. This position is ideal for candidates with strong BIM modelling experience, technical design knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• BIM Modelling and Technical Design
 

• Develop, maintain, and update 3D BIM models using Revit and related BIM software
 

• Prepare and update 2D technical drawings and engineering documentation
 

• Ensure models and drawings comply with project requirements, specifications, and standards
 

• Assist engineers in developing electrical building services designs.
 

Electrical Building Services Support

 

• Support the design and documentation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, communications, and fire protection systems
 

• Assist with preparation of design drawings and engineering documentation
 

• Ensure designs comply with applicable building regulations and standards
 

Project Coordination and Collaboration

 

• Coordinate BIM models with internal engineers and external consultants
 

• Participate in project coordination meetings and technical discussions
 

• Assist in resolving design conflicts and coordination issues
 

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment
 

Documentation and Compliance

 

• Prepare and maintain project documentation and design records
 

• Assist with preparation of certification and submission documents
 

• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and engineering standards
 

• Support engineers with project reporting and documentation requirements
 

Project Support and Continuous Improvement

 

• Assist with project planning, design updates, and documentation revisions
 

• Maintain accurate and organized project files and records
 

• Support engineering teams in delivering projects within timelines and quality standards
 

• Stay updated with BIM technologies, industry standards, and best practices
 

Job Requirements

Education

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or a related field

Experience

 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM modelling or building services design
 

• Strong experience using Revit and BIM software is required
 

• Experience in electrical building services or engineering consultancy environment is preferred
 

Technical Skills

 

• Proficiency in Revit and BIM software
 

• Experience with CAD software and technical drawing preparation
 

• Understanding of electrical building services systems
 

• Knowledge of building codes and engineering standards is an advantage
