Currently, our Kuala Lumpur branch is looking for motivated, energetic and career-minded personnel to apply for the post of Client Accountant (Full Set Account) (通晓中文).

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Appointed as CLIENT ACCOUNTANT for internal company and our valued corporate clients.
 

• Responsible for full set of accounts, including monthly and year end closing processes. 
 

• Manage client's accounts and internal accounts in accordance with the relevant policies, rules and regulations.
 

• Manage and direct all aspects of financial operations for the Company, providing business decision support, financial planning and analysis, and implement strategic planning and improvement processes.
 

• To handle corporate tax matters including reviewing tax computation and corresponding processes.
 

• To ensure timely and accurate accounting and reports in accordance with local IFRS and tax rules.
 

• Lodge SST, Income Tax and any other tax related reporting on a timely manner and ensure payments are made to the authority within the stipulated deadlines.
 

• Communicate and present financial reports to the company management and clients.
 

• Oversee and monitor subordinates job tasks progress in order to meet client’s deadline.
 

• Well maintain and update statutory document records accurately.
 

• Report to management on relevant matters.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

 

• Recognized degree in Finance or Accountancy or a related field. (With professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, CIMA MIA, MICPA will be a plus)
 

• Minimum of 3 years of finance and accounting experience, including finance, accounting, audit, and analysis (including gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to management and external parties).
 

• Knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations in SEA will be an advantageous.
 

• Proficiency with accounting software and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
 

• Inquisitive with a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity.
 

• Excellent interpersonal skills for managing clients and team members.
 

• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
 

• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to frequent changes.
 

• Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
 

• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Mandarin. Mandarin speaker as role requires and candidate are required to deal with Mandarin speaking clients (i.e. to serve for Greater China market)
