Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
Conduct account reconciliations and assist with audit preparations.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting principles.
Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or equivalent).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 

Preferred:

up to 1 year of practical experience in accounting.
Exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and auditing processes.
