Job Description

We are seeking a driven Solar Operations Executive to report directly to our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and manage key administrative, technical, and logistical workflows. In this role, you will prepare commercial sales proposals by coordinating closely with Business Development and Engineering, and manage component delivery logistics with suppliers and on-site installation teams. You will also drive regulatory compliance by assisting with preparing and submitting utility applications to relevant statutory authorities, including TNB (NEM/Selco), Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), and SEDA.

Job Requirements

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. 

Experience: 3–5 years of working experience in operational support, project administration, or supply chain, ideally within the solar, renewable energy, or M&E engineering sectors.

Operational & AI Tool Proficiency

Generative AI (Gemini / ChatGPT): Ability to leverage AI tools to draft professional client communications, refine proposal descriptions, summarise regulatory documentation, and automate administrative tasks.

Process & Inventory Tracking: Experience 

Soft Skills & Interpersonal Competencies

Cross-Departmental Coordination: Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to seamlessly bridge communication between Business Development, Engineering, and field teams.

Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Strong follow-up skills to track supplier lead times, ensure timely deliveries, and manage site logistics without causing project downtime.

Detail Orientation & Accuracy: High attention to detail when compiling sales proposals, cross-checking technical specs, and submitting statutory authority documentation.

Language and Communication Skills

Fluency in Mandarin and English

Industry Knowledge & Regulatory Familiarity (Optional)

Regulatory Compliance: Basic working knowledge of Malaysia's solar policies will plus points

Solar Systems Familiarity: Understanding of solar PV basic components (inverters, solar panels, mounting structures) to accurately translate engineering specs into commercial purchase orders.
